My family

Dennis and Debbie have three children, Chad , Abigail, and Ryan (promoted to heaven in 1985). In the summer of 2023 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family. Known as Poppie and Grammie by their seven grandchildren, they find grandparenting to be the best role ever!

Dennis & Debbie

Our love story began as high school sweethearts, and the story continues to be written.

Abby, Dennis, Debbie & Chad

Abby (Luke) is our youngest, and Chad (Michelle) is our oldest.

Our seven grandblessings
Ages 20 - 3 (the one walking away from the photo shoot).

We felt like our family photos
commemorating our 50th anni-
versary were incomplete without our
son, Ryan. Even though he wasn't
there with us in person, we wanted
him to be a part of the celebration.
The photographer magically
included a picture of him into
our family portrait.

Debbie is a mom who has survived the grief process after the death of her young son to leukemia in 1985.
No one ever sets out to become an expert on grief.  But when you find someone who understands grief deeply — has experienced it, learned from it, and conquered its most traumatizing effects — grab hold of them and don’t let go.” -Tim Mossholder

Book Dedication

Lovingly dedicated to Ryan Michael Jordan, our “little prince” (June 28, 1979–December 10, 1985). The number of days God planned for your life’s book, according to Psalm 139:16, seemed far too short to us, but we are blessed that you lived those 2,354 days full of life, love, and joy. You made us all the richer because you lived. Until we meet again, little man . . .
